2 December 2011	The annual St Barbara's Award Dinner this year will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Resort, 14811 Kruse Oaks Drive, Lake Oswego, Oregon, on the first Friday in December. 1800 hours for cocktails and appetizers, 1900 hours for dinner. The hotel will have a special group rate for rooms of $69; group name is "Oregon Army National Guard". Cost of dinner is $35 per person. 1 October 2011	The 145th A Battery Association annual dinner was held at the W.D. Jackson Armory on 1 October 2011. Details to follow shortly.....
3 December 2010	The annual St. Barbara's Award Dinner was held this year at the Jantzen Beach Red Lion Hotel (909 N. Hayden Island Drive, Portland, OR). Many fine soldiers and their wives were in attendance who bore witness to the presentation of the Honorable Order of St. Barbara to four of the Battalion's finest soldiers. And the Artillery punch? Well, suffice to say that while not all of the ingredients were typical, it did manage to assualt one's throat with a taste that was unmistakeable and very unforgiving. Yep, good stuff!
2 October 2010	The A Battery Association annual dinner was held in its usual place this year (W.D.Jackson Armory) and featured the return of the battery and its personnel from duty in Iraq. Guest speakers included CPT Eric Brenner who commanded the battery during their deployment. This dinner proved to have the largest turnout of veterans in recent memory, 58, and included Art Schade who first enlisted in 1936. SP4 Emanuel Gale was selected as the 2010 Honor Man and was presented with $400 cash and his name inscribed on the perpetual plaque.
