About Us:
The "A Battery Association" is a group composed primarily of old farts that refuse to let die the horrendous rush that happens when you pull the lanyard of a loaded howitzer! While it's true that not all of us have actually pulled a lanyard; it's also true that all of us wanted to pull it. So it really didn't matter if you were the cook, the clerk, a Supply dog, or turned wrenches in the Motor Pool, that BOOM and that SMELL just made its way into your head and your blood and pretty soon everybody was talkin' the talk and walkin' the walk! Artillery - king of battle! God love it!
We were, are, and continue to be a group of past and present-day soldiers that wish to honor our former unit and comrades. We do so by documenting and presenting the rich history of our battery and by extolling the fine accomplishments of its personnel.
